The third annual LISTEN LISTEN conference is set to be the biggest yet with the event adding some more big name guest, keynote and in-conversation speakers from Australia and abroad.

Headed up by the LISTEN organisation, the Melbourne conference aims to give a greater voice to marginalised communities in the music industry and work towards remedying the lack of equal representation throughout. Female and non-binary identifying artists and musicians of colour will be at the forefront of the event, showcasing the incredible diversity of the Australian music scene and how it is perceived through the eyes of these performers.

Along with the previously announced keynote speakers of Emma Donovan and DJ Haram, LISTEN LISTEN have also revealed a number of new additions to the line-up, including Miss Blanks, Ripley Kavara, Neil Morris (DRMNGNOW), Namila Benson and Thando.

The 2020 LISTEN LISTEN conference aims to put a "clear focus on programming sessions relevant across the age spectrum. In addition to roundtable discussions on parents and intergenerational work in music, there are workshops and panels with a youth focus".

LISTEN LISTEN runs from 28-29 March at the Brunswick Mechanics Institute.
